Café Mis Abuelos - Hacienda Cafetalera y Torrefactora

This place was incredible. My wife and I learned a lot about coffee production, tasted the freshest coffee from the sweetest abuela, and was even gifted a fresh avocado. We purchased freshly roasted beans and will be ordering more online when we return to the states. This is a beautiful farm. Supporting local businesses is more important than ever after finding our Coca cola produces 80% of coffee in PR.

Visiting Los Abuelos family-owned coffee hacienda was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality. Don Pepe guided us on a fascinating tour, sharing the intricate process of how their delicious coffee is made. The passion and dedication they pour into every cup were truly inspiring. The scenic drive to the farm added to the charm, with breathtaking views of Puerto Rico’s lush west side. If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit! Thank you to Don Pepe and his beautiful wife, for a wonderful and educational experience. Highly recommend!

One of the best coffee plantations because there is no fee. I met Jose the proprietor and farmer and he explained good coffee to me and the importance of growing good coffee. He only grows at Aribica and his farm also processes many other local Growers coffee beans. He gave me a free cup of coffee and gave me a free tour. It was all very informative and he is a very intelligent person. I also bought some coffee from him and gave him some money for his time. I have nothing bad to say about Mis Abuelas. He also let me taste some beans that were freshly harvested and then processed. Five star rating in every way and I just showed up during their hours at 10am a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Paradise in Puerto Rico!! Set in beautiful landscape and just absolutely fantastic coffee! The coffee wasn't that acidic burned stuff that is usually sold commercially, it was roasted to perfection. Our guide gave us a wonderful history of the place and a breakdown on pretty much everything you need to know about a perfect brew. His grandmother was an absolute delight as well! 10/10 will order from here and come again!

We had the pleasure of meeting the family of the hacienda with a tour lead by Jose! who taught us the rich history behind this family's love and dedication to their land. Abuela served us the delicious cafe upon arrival, followed by a tour of the space and agriculture. The product is incredibly impressive, you have a lifetime customer.
